Welcome to Jamestown Vision:
The Town of Jamestown has launched a planning process
to begin the implementation of the Comprehensive Plan.
Your participation is essential to the planning that will
culminate in an intensive, week long Design Charrette
October 15-19, 2007.
From this process, a team of Rhode Island consultants,
working closely with Jamestown officials and planning staff,
will produce a zoning overlay, Architectural Pattern Book,
and Design Guidelines for the Village study area. In order
for these documents to represent and protect Jamestown
effectively, we need citizen voices to provide feedback as the
designs are physically drawn in the Town Hall studio. In this
way we shape a community vision together.
